01What this page covers.
This page explains what happens to the personal details you give Pure Cloud Valley, whether you give them through this website, by email or by telephone. We are a small studio, and the page is written to match what we actually do rather than to sound impressive. Where something is not settled yet, we say so.
02What we receive.
The website has no accounts, no shop and no sign-in. We receive something only when you get in touch: your name, your email address, your message, and a telephone number if you choose to give one. When you book, we also note the kind of session you want, the date and time, and anything you tell us that affects how we should run it.
Please keep health details to what you want us to know. You do not need to describe a diagnosis to book a session, and we do not ask for one.
03How the contact forms work.
The forms on this website are email forms. Pressing the button opens your own email app with the message already written and addressed to hello@purecloudvalley.com. Nothing reaches us until you press send in that app, and the website itself does not store or process what you typed.
Because the message then travels as ordinary email, it is as private as any email is. If you prefer, write to us from your own address without using the form, or telephone us.
04Why we use your details.
We use your details to reply to you, to arrange and run a session, to keep a short record of past sessions and payments, and to answer questions about those sessions afterwards. We do not use them for advertising, we do not score or profile visitors, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list. If we ever want to send something that is not a reply, we will ask you first.
05Cookies and browser storage.
This website sets one cookie, and only if you press OK on the notice at the bottom of the page. The cookie is named tu, belongs to this website alone, and holds the date and time at which you closed the notice, so that the notice stays closed on later pages.
It expires after about 300 days, is sent only to this site (SameSite=Lax) and can be deleted in your browser settings at any time; the notice will then simply appear again. There are no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, and nothing is written to local storage or session storage.
06Other services on the site.
Pages load their fonts, scripts and images from this site itself. We do not embed maps, videos, social media buttons, analytics, tag managers or advertising scripts, so opening a page does not send your details to another company. If you follow a link to another website, that website's own policy applies.
07Who else sees your details.
We do not sell your details or share them with third parties. Messages pass through the email service we use for the hello@ mailbox, which carries them for us. We may disclose details where the law requires it, for example in answer to a valid request from a public authority.
We have not yet recorded in which country our email service stores messages. If that matters to you, ask us and we will tell you what we know.
08How long we keep it.
Messages that did not lead to a booking are deleted within three years. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require and are deleted afterwards. If you ask us to delete your messages sooner, we will do so unless a legal duty stops us.
09Keeping details safe.
Messages stay in the mailbox and in our own notes, and only the people who answer them and run the sessions can open them. We do not claim any certification for our systems. We keep things to what a small business can reasonably manage, and we collect as little as we can.
10Health information.
Information about health can be especially sensitive. If you mention a medical condition, a pregnancy or an injury so that we can run a session safely, we use it only for that session, we do not pass it on, and we delete it together with your other messages. Please do not send test results or medical documents. We do not need them.
11Your rights.
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information you can ask us to tell you which personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to stop using it or to delete it. To make a request, write to hello@purecloudvalley.com, telephone, or post a letter to the address below, and say which details you mean.
We will ask for enough information to confirm that the request really comes from you, and we will answer without unreasonable delay.
12Changes to this page.
If we change what we do with your details, we update this page and the date at the top. The version at this address is always the current one.
13Who is responsible.
Pure Cloud Valley is responsible for the personal data described here. The name of the person who handles requests is given without delay to anyone who asks us for it.
