These terms cover the use of the Pure Cloud Valley website and the sessions you arrange through it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site, and write to us if you would like anything explained.
Pure Cloud Valley offers one-to-one shiatsu, breathwork, guided stillness and check-in sessions. They are relaxation-oriented practices. The website describes them as accurately as we can, but a description of how a session may feel is a description, not a promise of any result.
We do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing on this website, including the articles, is medical advice. Sessions do not replace a doctor or any other licensed health professional.
If you are unwell, in pain, pregnant, recovering from an injury or an operation, or under medical care, please talk to your doctor before booking and tell us when you book. If something worries you, see a doctor first.
A session is booked when we have agreed a date, a time and a type of session with you by email or telephone and have confirmed the fee in writing. Fees are not listed on this website. We state them in yen before you confirm anything.
The website has no booking or payment system, so sending a form does not by itself reserve a place.
Payment is by cash or bank transfer, as agreed when you book. We do not ask for a deposit on a first booking. For visitors who often reschedule, we may agree an advance payment for holding a slot. The same details appear in the Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
Please tell us at least 48 hours before a session if you need to cancel or move it. If you give less than 24 hours' notice, we may charge half the session fee. If we have to cancel, we tell you as early as we can and do not charge for that session.
These rules are applied sensibly. If something unavoidable happens, tell us.
Tell us about anything that affects how you should be touched or how you should breathe, and tell us straight away if anything is uncomfortable. You can ask for lighter or firmer pressure, a change of position or a pause, and you can stop at any time.
We may decline or end a session if we think it is not suitable for you, or if someone's behaviour makes it unsafe or inappropriate.
The articles are general reading notes about how we work. They are not instructions, advice for your own situation or a substitute for a professional opinion. The date on an article is the date it was published.
The texts, the layout and the studio's name belong to Pure Cloud Valley unless noted. The photographs on this site are illustrative images and may not show our rooms or our visitors. Please ask before reusing anything commercially.
We link to other websites rarely. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.
To the extent the law allows, Pure Cloud Valley is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from relying on its descriptions. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our own intent or gross negligence, and it does not affect your rights as a consumer under Japanese law.
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. A change does not alter a booking that has already been confirmed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking, the Kobe District Court (Amagasaki Branch) or the Amagasaki Summary Court, according to the amount in dispute, is the court of first instance with jurisdiction by agreement. This does not remove any court that a consumer may use under mandatory law.
